December 21, 2009 EcoDepot featured in Spokesman's DownToEarthNW blog
The Spokesman-Review's DownToEarthNW blog wrote recently on the 15 year anniversary of EcoDepot:
This summer EcoDepot celebrated its 15-year anniversary. Sullivan, a former elementary school teacher, started the business with her brother, Bruce Gage. Both had worked for Northwest Energy Products, and when it closed, they decided to strike out on their own.

Environmentally Friendly, Recycled Surface Materials are Here!
EcoDepot, Inc. is proud to announce the availability of environmentally-friendly surface materials.
Invented in 1996, Vetrazzo is composed of a proprietary formula that combines recycled glass with cement, additives and pigments.
All of the glass used in Vetrazzo is recycled, and it makes up about 85 percent of the final material by weight. The largest proportion of glass comes from curbside recycling programs. Other glass comes from post industrial usage, windows, dinnerware, stemware, automotive windshields, stained glass, laboratory glass, reclaimed glass from building demolition, and other unusual sources such as decommissioned traffic lights.
Every panel of Vetrazzo is unique. Variations in patter and color will occur, adding to the beauty of each surface.
ECO by Cosentino reuses materials that have reached the end of their life cycle, thus saving on the creation and consumption of natural resources. Most of the raw materials used in the creation of ECO by Cosentino include porcelain, mirror, crystallized ash, glass, stone scraps and corn. The advantage of this is that the material being used has no other lifecycle.
ECO surfaces are non-porous, do not require sealers, and are available in 10 designer colors and two textures.
To see samples of these and other products, be sure to come by our showroom. We'd love to show them off.
